"We have Tiffany Dearman, she is charged with embezzlement of several thousand dollars; at this time we don't know the total of it, but we do know that there are several thousand dollars that she allegedly embezzled from this company," Knight said.
Authorities say her husband, Steve, and son Justin, also took part in some other crimes against the company, adding to their list of charges.
"All three of those are charged with grand larceny for allegedly stealing a refrigerator," Knight said.
Sheriff Knight tells us that all three suspects were brought to the Newton County Jail, but they have since been released on bond."
"(They) are waiting for an appearance with a Justice Court Judge here in Decatur in Newton County," he said.
According to Mississippi Code, anyone who embezzles over $1000 faces a felony embezzlement charge. If convicted, Dearman could face up to 10 years in prison, up to a $10,000 fine, or both.
