A woman was hit by a vehicle in Meridian Tuesday afternoon as she walked to get her child from West Hills Elementary School.
Meridian police say the victim was struck by a blue SUV at 40th Avenue and 34th Street about 3 p.m.
The woman was taken to Anderson Hospital and was listed in critical condition. Her identity was not immediately released.
Police say no charges have been filed against the driver at this point, but the investigation continues.
