The Philadelphia School Board is spending this week interviewing candidates for its soon-to-be vacant superintendent job.
Five candidates are being interviewed this week.
The school board is looking for a replacement for Joe White, who resigned earlier this year after seven years on the job. His resignation is effective June 30.
School board officials have said they hope to have the job filled by the end of April.
