Florey: ""I'm Ready to Hit the Road Running"

Newly elected Lauderdale County supervisor Hank Florey said Monday he's up for the job as board vice-president.

Just a day after the general election in November, Florey was hospitalized after suffering a minor stroke.

Since that time, he says he has recovered a great deal.

"I'm well. I have responded well to medication," said Florey. "I'm ready to hit the road running . I'm in good physical and mental condition, and I'm ready to work hard and long for this county."

Florey said he is now almost completely recovered and is now still undergoing some minor physical therapy.
