The Republican campaign for governor is moving to southeast Alabama.
Five of the seven candidates seeking the GOP gubernatorial nomination next year have confirmed they will be in Dothan for a political forum set for Monday night.
The candidates who plan to attend include state Rep. Robert Bentley, former two-year college chancellor Bradley Byrne, State Treasurer Kay Ivey, businessman Tim James, and Bill Johnson, former director of the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs.
The forum is sponsored by the Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce and the city.
