Campbell Seeks District 31 Seat

A long-time incumbent state senator will be getting a challenge this year from another state lawmaker.

State Rep. Tad Campbell Monday qualified to run for the District 31 seat held by Sen. Terry Burton.

Both men are Republicans.

Campbell chose not to run for re-election for his District 84 House seat.

Burton has held the District 31 seat since 1992.
