A structural problem at Highland Park and road projects had the attention of the Meridian City Council Tuesday.
Public Works Director Monty Jackson says a landslide has occurred along Gallagher Creek near the swimming pool.
The city hired an engineering firm to come up with a new design to correct the problem.
Jackson also said some street overlay projects are likely coming in the next month.
"It has been designed for a while. The paperwork through the state is quite a bit," said Jackson. "And we have to make sure it's all right and follow their guidelines and their check list."
Jackson said the vote by the city council sends the last piece of information to the state for review.
Work is slated for portions of 29th Avenue and north Meridian.
