The Meridian City Council approved newly redistricted ward lines, for the second time.
The council approved new ward lines during its last meeting, after a public hearing.
But the issue was called up for reconsideration Tuesday, because Ward 2's Mary Perry believed the vote had been misunderstood.
The council once again approved the new lines by a 3-2 vote, just as it did previously.
"When I voted against it at the last meeting, it was because I felt it was an improper time to consider it," said Henson. "We should have had a work session, if any problems, and then let the man who has been working on it be a part of that or know the results of that."
Redistricting is required every ten years, when results of the new census are released.
