Michael W. Riordan, III, has qualified to run for Lauderdale County tax collector. Riordan is a Democrat.
According to information submitted to Newscenter 11, Riordan has lived in Lauderdale County for 34 years, and was a city firefighter for more than 27 years.
Riordan is a graduate of Meridian Community College, where he received two associate's degrees.
