Runoffs Set in Choctaw County Races

The Democratic runoff election is set for
Apr. 24 in Choctaw County, Ala. Two races are involved.

The probate judge contest will have to be settled between Michael Armistead and C.D. "Budd" Ruffin.
No one took 50 percent-plus 1 in the three-way race Tuesday..

The same is true for the board of education at-large race. That runoff is between Gerald "Randy" Gibson and Ronshay Horn.
