House District 83 Representative Greg Snowden tells Newscenter 11 this past week was one of the most physically trying weeks he's had in his thirteen years in the legislature.
Snowden says representatives worked late into the evening most of the week trying to pass general amendments and constitutions. He says now that that is out of the way, lawmakers will be turning their attention to the budget for the next couple of weeks.
"The appropriations process will get underway," Snowden previews. "The appropriations committees in the House and the Senate will begin developing plans and ultimately will come up with a budget that the House and Senate will take up action on."
Snowden says so far, the budget is looking good as revenue estimates are up. However, he says there will still be less money this year compared to last year.
