The Lauderdale County Board of Supervisors has approved funds to begin construction of an addition to the Agri-Center.
The proposed addition was part of the original plans but was never completed due to lack of funding.
Now officials say the funds are available to finish the project, that will increase the size of the Agri-Center and allow for bigger events.
"To get a covered, warm-up arena added as an addition to the building, which will allow us to produce bigger events, and it will also allow us to have more covered space during the events that already exist," said Seal.
Seal said he hopes the addition will be completed by the Queen City Fair in October.
