Funeral services for Mildred Dial Dearman, 92, of Boyd will be held Friday, June 20, 2014 at 11 A.M. at the Hadden Presbyterian Church with Rev. Joe Fast and Rev. Patsy Chaney officiating. Burial will follow in the Boyd Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Dearman passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at Sumter Health and Rehabilitation. She was a life-long member of Hadden Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include daughter Constance Hawkins of Boyd; son John Andrew Dearman of York; and the late Mary Faith Wheeler; grandchildren Eleanor Grace Wheeler and Paul Andrew Wheeler; three great grandchildren sisters Thelma Sullivan of Geiger; Shirley Coleman of Prentiss, Ms., Janice Rozelle of Birmingham; brothers Bryant Dial of Leaksville, MS., Jake Marshall Dial of Livingston; Joe Kenneth Dial of Tuscaloosa; Ed Dial and Luther Dial of Emelle.
She was preceded in death by her husband James Mitchell Dearman.
She was a member of the Bigbee Valley Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution for 44 years.
Pallbearers include Edwin Malone, Jack Warbington, Larry Dial, John William Dial, Marshall Dial, David Mithcell Dial, Kenny Hutcheson, Mike Hutchins and Michael Larkin.
