Funeral services for William “Pete” McInnis, 77, of Needham will be held Friday, February 14, 2014 at 11 A.M. from the Brightwater Methodist Church with a military graveside to follow in the Brightwater Cemetery. Visitation will be at Bumpers Funeral Home in Butler on Thursday, February 13, 2014 from 6 to 8 P.M.
Mr. McInnis passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at his residence. He was a retired Forest Ranger for the State of Alabama and a U.S. Army Veteran. He was also a former employee of Burlington Industries.
Survivors include his wife Judy McInnis of Marion, MS; son Randy McInnis (Martha) of Gilbertown, AL; daughter Gayle Mosby (C.P. III “Bud”) of Meridian, MS; brothers John Henry McInnis of Needham, AL; Wayne McInnis (Peggy) of Quitman, MS; Bob McInnis (Jolene) of Gilbertown, AL; sisters Lucille Means (Rodney) of Moss Point, MS; Yvonne Wilson of Needham, AL; Mary Opal McInnis of Needham, AL; five grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents William Green McInnis and Nola Grace Broadhead McInnis.
