Mr. Eldridge “JaBo” Turner

Funeral Services for Mr. Eldridge “JaBo” Turner, age 86 of Needham, will be held on Thursday, September 9, 2010 at 11 A.M. from the Needham Bible Chapel with Rev. James Bonner officiating. Burial will follow in the Brightwater Cemetery. Visitation for Mr. Tuner will be Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2010 from 6 to 8 P.M. at the Needham Bible Chapel.

Mr. Turner passed away on Monday, September 6, 2010 at Willow Trace Nursing Center in Butler, Alabama. He was a retired Millwright for the American Can Co. and a World War II Veteran serving in the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Dot Turner of Needham; sons Rodney Tuner & Wife Wanda of Needham; Richard Turner & Wife Elaine of Needham; sister Ruth Raines of Demopolis; 3 grandchildren Amy T. Watt & husband Carlton; Holley T. Bedwell & husband Chris; and Travis Turner; three great grandchildren John Turner Watt, Carly Bedwell, and Brooks Bedwell; sister in law Juanita Turner of Needham.

Mr. Turner was preceded in death by his parents George W. Turner and Evie Broadhead Turner; his son Larry Turner; and his brother J.V. Turner.

Pallbearers: Travis Turner, Danny Bethany, Chris Bedwell, Carlton Watt, Greg Jackson, Bart Lucas.
