A memorial gathering for Mr. John F. Piznar "Daddy Jack" will be held at 10:30am on Saturday, April 12, 2008 at Union United Methodist Church. Rev. Len McRaney will officiate.

"Daddy Jack" will rest in peace on Horne Island, a favorite place of his to vacation. Mr. Piznar, 75, passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at his residence, 124 Long Street, Union, MS.

Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years, Jimmie Ann Piznar of Union; one son, Paul Michael Piznar and wife Treens of Houston, TX; one daughter, Stephania Ferrell and husband Neal of Union; four grandchildren, Sean Ferrell, Paige Piznar, Ian Ferrell and Natalie Piznar; one brother, Robert Piznar and wife Catherine of Monro, NJ; one nephew, John Piznar and wife Eileen; one niece, Mary Piznar; three great nieces, Grace Piznar, Kathryn Piznar and Caroline Piznar; one great nephew, Evan Piznar.

He was preceded in death by infant daughter, Nancy Lynn Piznar. Milling Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
