OLA MAE SEALS, age 85, of York, Alabama, born to the late Robert and Viola Larkin Lake, passed April 19, 2008 at Rush Foundation Hospital, Meridian, Mississippi.

Funeral services were Saturday, April 26, 2008 at 1:00 P. M. from Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, York, Alabama with interment following in the adjacent Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Rev. Ronnie Walk, pastor, officiated. Mrs. Seals did not lie in repose, however, the full processional left from the family residence at 12:40 P. M. Saturday afternoon. Visitation for family and friends was Friday evening from 3-6:00 P.M. with a scheduled Wake from 6-7:00 P. M. at the Weatherly Funeral Home Chapel, York.

Pall Bearers: Michael Hill, Detrick Young, Morrell Cook, Ronnie Murray and Perry C. Rowe
Flower Attendants: Grand Daughters

Those left to cherish precious memories are: Five (5) children- Josephine Thompson, Rachael Williams, Betty ("Fatty Girl") Lard, Frank Seals, and Viree Seals, all of York, Alabama; three sisters- Betty Lard, Bellamy, Alabama, Mary Thomas, Louisville, Ky., and Lessie Drummond, Peoria, Illinois; six brothers- Esko Lake, and Ellis Lake, Cuba, Alabama; Archie Lake, Cleveland, Ohio, Frank Travis, Jasper, Alabama, Robert Lake, Parish, Ala., and A.V. Gaines, Buffalo, N. Y; a loving grandchild, Garry Seals, 27 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; 35 great great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends who will surely miss her.

We at WEATHERLY FUNERAL HOME, (York) and WEATHERLY-STUDDARD MEMORIAL CHAPEL (Butler) offer to the Seals Family our most sincere and heartfelt sympathy. Our Prayer is that God will continue to comfort, strengthen and sustain you during your many hours of bereavement.
