Services for Mrs. Dorothy Nell Clark Parker Barham will be held Monday, March 9, 2009 at 11 am at Milling Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Murrell & Rev. Lin Chesney officiating.Burial in the Little Rock Cemetery with Milling Funeral Home of Union in charge of the arrangements.
Dorothy Nell Clark Parker Barham, 75, born on September 14, 1933 of Philadelphia, Ms., died Thursday, March 5, 2009 at 11:29 am.
She was born in Lloyd, Mississippi and grew up in Calhoun City, Mississippi. She raised her family in Gulfport, Mississippi and moved to Philadelphia, Mississippi in 1981. Dorothy was a very loving and caring person who always put others needs before her own. Although her house was full of her own children, the doors were always open to countless others that she took under her loving wing. Her life was an example of God’s love and she shared that love and the news of Jesus whenever she could. She loved many and was loved by many. Her legacy will live on in each of us.
Her loving husband of twenty three years, Junius Sam Barham. Seven daughters: Sylvia (Wilson) Smith, Anita (Dewey) Hatten, Carol (Kenneth) Hagan, Donna (Kenny) Poole, Becky (John) Lee, Teresa (David) Moore and Ginger (Steve) Lockley.
Seven sons: Sam (Elaine)Barham, Bobby (Rise) Parker, Greg (Nancy) Barham, Alan Barham, David (Diane) Parker, and Joel (Kathy) Parker and son in law Cap Capdepon
17 great grandchildren
She is also survived by two sisters: Hattie Morgan and Pearl Eakin and one brother, Buford (Estelle) Clark and many loving nieces, nephews and countless friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Simeon and Effie Mae Clark, one daughter Donna Jean Capdepon, and six sisters: Ruth, Delila, Opia, Smithy, Jeanette and Sue and one grandson, Eric Barham.
Pallbearers: Grandsons: Jerry Parker, Nathan Hagan, Darrell Parker, Jon English Lee, Michael Poole, Jay Parker, Jered Parker,Vince Hatten, and Tyler Hagan.

Visitation will be held Sunday, March 8, 2009 from 5-8 pm. Milling Funeral Home of Union in charge of the arrangements.
