Mrs. Jean James, 80, of Union, passed away Friday, March 20 at Regency Hospital in Meridian.
Services were held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 23, 2009 at Union United Methodist Church with burial in Union City Cemetery.

Survivors include:

Husband of 58 years: Albert James of Union

2 Daughters: Becky McNelis and husband Mike of Brandon

Debra James of Llano, TX

1 Son: Danny James and wife Nancy of Mason, TX

1 Granddaughter: Rachel McNelis of Brandon

2 Sister-in-laws: Mary Holyfield and Louise James

She was the secretary of Woodman of the World Lodge # 332 in Union and a member of Union United Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Union United Methodist Church care of Linda Ham 101 McRaven St. Union, Ms 39365.

Pallbearers will be Dale Holyfield, John Holyfield, Danny Joyner, Bill McKeithen, Ken McKeithen, and Ralph Freeman.
