JAMES LEE RUFFIN, age 65, of Cuba, Alabama, born to the late Connie Lee and Josephine Glover Ruffin, passed April 1, 2009 at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center, Meridian, Ms.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. from Morning Star Baptist Church, Bellamy, with Rev. Willie Wilson, pastor, offiiating. Interment follows in Morning Star Cemetery. Mr. Ruffin will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time. Visitation for family and friends is scheduled for Monday evening from 3-6:00 p.m. from the WEATHERLY FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL in York.
Those left to cherish precious memories are: a loving, devoted wife of 43 years, Zella Ruffin, Cuba, Ala; two dear, loving daughters- Yolanda Ruffin, Cuba, Ala., and Valeria Ruffin, Laurel, M., a loving son- Donovin Tyree (Elizabeth) Ruffin of Houston, Tx., (7) seven grandchildren- DeMarcus Ruffin, Lederris Gibbs, Shanquita Ruffin, Marcus Ruffin, Donovin Ruffin, Jr., Keimah Ruffin and Julian Jason; two sisters- Mary Barlow, Los Angeles, Calif., and Kendra Holloway, Sheffield, Ala; six (6) brothers- Arthur Lee Ruffin, Cuba, Ala., Clarence (Diane) Ruffin and Ray Anthony Ruffin of Detroit, Mich., Charles Ruffin, Sheffield, Ala., William (Mary) Ruffin of Lancaster, Ca., and Robert Earl Ruffin, North Hollywood, Ca; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and numerous other relatives and friends who loved him dearly.
