Services for Donald W. Reece will be held Monday, April 20, 2009 at 11:30 am at James F. Webb Chapel, with the Revs. Jim Gordan and Scotty Fulcher officiating. Burial will be in Long Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Reece, 60, of Chunky died Thursday, April 16, 2009 at Rush Foundation Hospital. He was a Disabled Vetran. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army 101st Airborne, Cathedral Assembly of God Church, Patriot Guard Motorcycle Club, East Ride Horse riding Club, and the American Coon Hunters Association.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Reece of Chunky, MS; Sons, Lee Reece and wife Cassandra of Chunky, and Trent Reece and wife Kim of Enterprise, MS. Brothers, Raymond Reece and wife Gladys of Meridian, and Lamar Reece and wife Wynona of Meridian; Sisters, Faye Fulcher and husband Henry of Meridian, Brenda Skametta and husband George of Meridian, Jackie Schissler and husband Lee of Scottsdale, AZ. Grand Children: Alexis, Chloe, Ty, Ethan, Tristan and Gracie Reece. Numerous Nieces and Nephews, Great Nieces and Nephews, 3 Great Great Nieces and Nephews.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Cleo Reece and Mother, Annie Mae Chatham Reece.
Pallbearers will be: Trent, Lee, Phil, Kevin Reece, Greg Maynard, and Randy Fulcher. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Eli Thompson, Ricky Embry, Ronnie Skametta, and Dwayne Morris.
Visitation will be Monday, April 20, 2009 from 9:00 – 11:30 at James F. Webb Funeral Home.
