Glenda Hollingsworth Davis, age 71, of Decatur, MS, died at her residence on Thursday, April 23, 2009. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00am on Friday 4-24-2009 at the Newton County Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mark Vincent officiating. Burial will be in the Macedonia Cemetery with Newton County Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. 601-635-3200.
Mrs. Davis is survived by her husband, Johnny C. Davis of Decatur; Daughter, Melanie Gilmore and her husband Gary of Decatur; step son, Jay Davis and wife Faye of Sebastapol; step-daughter Elizabeth Owens of Colombus; Sisters: Clera Hughes of New Orleans, LA, Mary Jo Chenaud, Centerville, MD, and Gene Bryan of Newton; Grandchildren: JC and Heather Davis of Sebastapol; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, B.D. and Elvy Willis Hollingsworth.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, 4-23-2009 from 5-8pm at Newton County Funeral Home.
