Jerry Marlin Long, 33, died Monday, June 22, 2009 in Sumter County. Graveside services were held at 10:00am today, Thursday, June 25, 2009 at Belmont Cemetery in Belmont with Rev. Scott Jones officiating.
Survivors include: His wife, Debbie Zipparo Long and his son, Hayden Trent Long both of Demopolis
His mother, Rita Gandy Long of Belmont; his brother, William Jason Long
his maternal grandmother, Mable Gandy of Belmont; his father, Jerry Long of Greensboro.
He was preceeded in death by his maternal grandfather, Oliver Wade Gandy, Sr. and paternal grandparents George Robert and Jessie Muir Long.
Pallbearers will be Trey Gandy, John Wideman, Michael Solliday, Rob Allen, Henry “Boo Boo” Marchand,
Skip Fields, Dewayne “Beaver” Gandy and David Zipparo.
