LOREAN J. CAMPBELL, age 72, of Cuba, Alabama, born to the late Joe Johnson, Sr. and Belleaner Hearn Johnson, passed June 29, 2009 in Pittsfield Twp., Michigan.
Funeral services will be held Monday morning, July 6, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. from Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Cuba, Alabama with Rev. Wayne Davis, pastor, delivering the eulogy. Mrs. Johnson will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time. Interment follows in Cagus Cemetery, also Cuba. Visitation for family and friends is scheduled for Sunday afternoon (July 5th) from 2-5:00 P.M. at the WEATHERLY FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL. The funeral cortege will leave from the Campbell residence, located 390 Campbell Street, at 10:40 a.m. Monday morning.
Lorean leaves to cherish precious memories of her: three daughters, Bernette Campbell, Ann Arbor, Mich., Carolyn (Curtis) Walton, Roswell, Ga., and DeSharn (Isaac, Jr.) Bunch of Garner, N.C; four grandchildren, Cortland and Candace Walton, Dominique and Deiont'e Bunch; one devoted sister, Corean Williams, Ypsilanti, Mich; two brothers, Arvell (Maxie) Johnson, Cuba, Alabama and Joe (Clemmie) Johnson of Ann Arbor, Mich; three brothers-in-law, Ike (Nina) Campbell, Cuba, Ala., James (Barbara) Campbell, Decatur, Ga., and Paul (Deborah) Campbell, Ypsilanti, Mich; five sisters-in-law, Ruby Curry, Cuba, Ala., Lillie Edwards, Detroit, Mich., Susie Young, Riverdale, Ga., Rosie Mae Campbell, Cuba, Ala., and Dorothy Johnson, Ypsilanti, Mich; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that cherished her dearly. Besides her parents, Lorean was preceded in death by siblings - Lillie M. Lowry, Jessie M. Johnson-Jones, Rosie B. Coleman, Annie M. Bollar, George, April D., James C., Roy C., John H., and Otis C. Johnson.
