Mary Sue Young-Bryant, age 63, of Dorchester, Mass., born to the late Jessie and Florene Ezell in Ward, Alabama, passed August 16, 2009 in Massachusetts. Mary was employed as a pre-school teacher for 33 years at the Crispus Attucks Children's Center in Dorchester. Funeral services were held Monday, August 24, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. from St. John Missionary Baptist Church, Ward. Her brother, Rev. Samuel Ezell delivered the eulogy; Rev. Pettis Lockett is church pastor. Interment followed in the adjacent St. John Memorial Gardens.
She is survived by: Her son, Ronald Bryant; three sisters, Jessie Ezell (Samuel) Delaine and Betty Ezell (Willie) McClinon and Dorothy Ezell (Robert) Ward; two brothers, William Henry Ezell and Rev. Samuel (Shirley) Ezell; one aunt, Mattie Young Terrell; one uncle, J.C. LYoung and a host of other relatives and friends.
