Funeral Services for Mr. William C. Irby will be held on Tuesday, October 217, 2009 at 11:OO a.m. at Graveside with the Rev. Roger Ivey officiating. Burial will be at Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 10:00 until service time. James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Irby, age 87, passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2009 at Collins State Veterans Home in Collins, Ms He was a long time employee of Anderson Hospital and was a verteran of WWII while serving in the United States Navy.

He was survived by two son, Ray Long and his wife Corless of Chunky, Ms ans Ronnie Lond and his wife Lib of Meridan, Ms; a son-in-law Charles Swanner of Savoy, MS; and by his two sisters and one brother. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded by his wife Mabel Long Irby and one daughter, Patsy Swanner.
