Mrs. Lisa Coats, 43, of Union, passed away Saturday, October 31, 2009, at Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian.
Services for Mrs. Lisa Coats will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at Smyrna Baptist Church with Rev. Bobby Ferguson, Rev. Charles Rhodes, and Rev. Jay Murphy officiating with burial at Coldwater Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Milling Funeral Home of Union. Milling Funeral Home of Union in charge of the arrangements.

4 Sisters: Vicki Etheredge and husband John of Union Brenda Rowell and husband Thomas of Union Penny Sullivan and husband Matthew of Philadelphia Brandy Hutchinson and husband Jamie of Philadelphia
3 Brothers: John “Bo” Barnett and wife Mary of Philadelphia James Barnett and wife Joyce of Philadelphia Lewis Barnett of Philadelphia
Mrs. Coats is survived by several nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. “Sad” Barnett; and one nephew, Nicholas Cole.
Mrs. Coats was a member of Smyrna Baptist Church and secretary of Linwood Fire Department. She was employed by Pevey Electronics for more than 17 years.
Her Family will remember her by her favorite saying, “ Living by Faith.” She was a loving wife, sister, and friend.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Belk, Bennie Atkinson, David Moulds, Mark Ferguson, Carl Butts, Gerald Spears, and Hubbard Johnston.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Damien Marshall, Michael Barnett, Bill St. Germain, Joe Barnett, and member of the Linwood Fire Department.
