Claude Worrell

Services for Mr. Claude Worrell will be held 2 pm, Sunday, November 8, 2009 at Milling Funeral Home Chapel of Union with Rev. Harmon Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Newton County Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Milling Funeral Home of Union in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Worrell, 80, of Union, died Thursday, November 5, 2009 at VA hospital in Jackson.

He was a member of The Church of God at Reid Chapel. He retired out of the U.S. Airforce. He was stationed in Thailand during the Vietnam War.

Survivors include:

Linda Felton of Hickory Teresa Skinner and husband Danny of Hickory

5 Sons:

Stanley Worrell and wife Glenda of Union Michael Worrell of Jackson Johnny Worrell and wife Rosilind of Ellisville Jeff Worrell of Columbus Jerry Worrell and wife Susan of McKinney, TX

14 Grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren

He is survived by 2 sisters, Mavis and Helen and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his wife Janet Worrell, two brothers and five sisters.

Pallbearers: Nells Norris, Stanley Bishop, Mike Dallas, Gary Jones, Roger Adams, Bradley Goss, and Gwen Goss

Visitation will be 5-8 pm, Saturday, November 7, 2009 at Milling Funeral Home of Union.
