Services for Ms. Weida Powe will be held 1 pm, Monday, November 9, 2009 at Milling Funeral Home Chapel of Sebastopol with Rev. Ray Files officiating. Burial will be in the Zion Church of God Cemetery. Milling Funeral Home of Sebastopol in charge of the arrangements.
Ms. Powe, 58, passed away Friday, November 6, 2009 at Regency Hospital in Meridian.

Survivors include:

Daughter: Vickie Embry and husband Benji of McComb

1 Sister: Patricia Pinter of Laurel

1 Brother: David Dennis and wife Deborah of Sebastopol

3 Nieces: Joann Conn and husband Kyle of Waynesboro; Blythe Ellis of Brandon; and Sarah Dennis of Philadelphia

2 Nephews: Tony Dennis of Union and Harley Dennis of Philadelphia

She is survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and one special sister in law, Wilda Ruth Hammons.

She will be remembered as a loving mother, sister, and friend. She will be greatly missed.

Pallbearers will be Welton Harley Dennis,II, Glen Clark, Thad Humphries, Gilbert Barham, Rodney Dennis, Brad Hammons, Lee Bennett and Allen Ogletree.

Visitation will be held from 6 - 8 Sunday, November 8, 2009 at Milling Funeral Home of Sebastopol.
