Mose Wilson, age 75, of York, Alabama, passed at 8:24 a.m. December 4, 2009 at the residence of his sister, Bessie Rodgers. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 12, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. from Eastern Star Baptist Church in the Grant City Community of York. Rev. Mansel Brown is to officiate; Rev. Charles H. Delaine is church pastor. Interment follows in Ward Chapel Cemetery, Ward, Alabama. Mr. Wilson will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time. Visitation is Friday evening (Dec. 11th) from 3-6:00 p.m. at the Weatherly Funeral Home Chapel. He is survived by: four daughters- Beverly Wilson Maxwell, Toni Jones, Debra (Berry) Burton of Las Vegas, Nv., Monique (Will) Wilson of Los Angeles, Calif., three sons- Anthony (Patricia) Wilson of Birmingham, Ala.., Al Williams of Lorain, Ohio and O'Shay Wilson of Los Angeles, Ca., two brothers- Robert (Stephanie) Wilson of Elyria, Ohio, and Joe Daniel Wilson, York, Al., preceding him in death are four brothers- James Williams, Robert Ellis Wilson, Alonzo Wilson, and Charles Wilson; four sisters- Myra (Martin) Alston of Lorain, Ohio, Bessie Rodgers, York, Ala., Johnnie (Ellis) Capers, of Elyria, Ohio, Evelyn (Mansel) Brown, Huntsville, Ala., he is preceded in death by four sisters- Lucille Rembert, Bessie Johnson, Earline Capers and Jessie Gilmore; he is further survived by twenty (20) grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends who loved him dearly.
