Mrs. Brackeen was a member of Hickory Methodist Church and the Chunky chapter of the Eastern Star. She loved working in her yard with flowers,cooking for friends and family and she was an avid shopper.

Brother: Jerry Strickland, Tyler, TX.8 granchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
