Mr. William “Bill” Ellis
Funeral services for Mr. William “Bill” Ellis will be held Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home Chapel . Burial will be in Graham Cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Ellis, 72, of Meridian, died Saturday, April 10, 2010 at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center . He was a retired heavy machinery operator and truck driver. He served his country during the Korean War and the Berlin Crisis of 1961. He served and received honorable discharges in the United States Navy, the United States Airforce and the United States Marine Reserves. He was also a member of Oakland Heights Lodge F&AM #577.
He is survived by his 2 sons, Robert C. Ellis and his wife Janet of Columbus, MS and William R. “Billy” Ellis and his wife Debbie of West Point, MS; 1 Daughter, Pamela Clower and her husband Keith of Florida; 1 Step-son, James F. Stokley and his wife Brenda of Meridian, MS; 1 Step-daughter, Ann Stokley of Collinsville, MS. He is survived by his Eighteen (18) Grandchildren and Ten (10) Great Grandchildren and by his three sisters, Peggy Herrington, Nadie Ellis and Amanda Ellis.
Visitation will be Monday, April 12, 2010 from 5-7 p.m. at James F. Webb Funeral home.
