Ms. Elma Smith

Services for Ms. Elma Smith will be held 2 pm, Thursday, April 15, 2010 at County Line Baptist Church with Rev. Bobby Barfoot and Rev. David Jay officiating. Burial in the Crossroads Cemetery with Milling Funeral Home of Union in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Smith, 90, of Union, died Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at Laird Hospital.

Ms. Smith was the oldest member of County Line Baptist Church. Her pastime was quilting and needle point. She loved her family and always looked forward to family dinners and get togethers. She enjoyed five generations in her family.

Survivors include: 2 Daughters: Joyce Smith of Union and Carolyn Williams (W.L.) of Union

4 Grandchildren: Jerry Smith (Brenda) of Union, Debbie Dixon (Sammy) of Jackson, Diane Davis (Ivan) of Meridian, Denise Robinson of Meridian

8 Great grandchildren: Tonya Fox (Chad), Stevie Dixon (Heather), Alison Davis, Michael Davis, Drew Davis, Lauren Robinson, Trevor Robinson, and Logan Robinson

1 Great Great Grandchild: Addisyn Fox 1 Sister: Mae Graham (Dock) of Decatur

She was preceded in death by her husband Neville Smith, parents, Mack and Susie Herrington, one sister Flora Herrington, three brothers, Oscar Herrington, Wilbern Herrington, and Ellis Herrington, one son-in-law, Earnest Smith, one sister-in-law, Lorene Herrington.

Visitation will be held 5:30 pm- 8 pm, Wednesday, April 14, 2010. Milling Funeral Home of Union in charge of arrangements.
