ALMA M. HATTER, age 83, of York, Alabama, born to the late Willie and Maude Blanche Moss, passed June 28, 2012 at her residence. Service of remembrance will be Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. from New Prospect Baptist Church, 100 Hoilt Road, Livingston, Alabama, with Rev. Cephus Simmons delivering the eulogy; Rev. Felix Jones is associate pastor. Interment follows in Elmwood Memorial Gardens, Highway 11-East, York. Mrs. Hatter will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time. Visitation for family and friends is Monday evening from 3-6:00 p.m. in the Weatherly Chapel with the 5-6:00 p.m. hour designated for the Eastern Star Ceremony.
Those left to cherish precious memories are: two children whom she reared as her own; Jacqueline Barber Dixon, Chicago, Ill., and Larry (Johnnie) Barber, York, Ala; one sister, Alberta Eason, Dayton, Oh; one sister-in-law, Eartha Moss, Panola, Alabama, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who loved her dearly.
