ANNIE MAE VANN, age 90, of Cuba, Alabama, passed October 24, 2012 at approximately 10:30 p.m. at Rush Foundation Hospital, Meridian, Mississippi. Service of remembrance will be Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. from Zion Hill Baptist Church, in the Kinterbish community of Cuba, with Rev. Charles Henry Delaine delivering the eulogy; Rev. Wayne Davis is church pastor. Mrs. Vann will lie in repose one our prior to funeral time. Interment follows in Cagus Cemetery, also Cuba. Visitation for family and friends is scheduled for Friday evening (Nov. 2nd) from 3-6:00 p.m. In the Weatherly Chapel.
Those left to cherish precious memories and to celebrate her life are her children: Lucille Thomas, Annie Hughes, Woodrow Vann, Jeffrow Vann, Doretha Simmons, Jackie Vann, Gennie Vann, Angela Vann and Andrew Vann; numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends who loved her dearly.
