AVERY CORTEZ WILLIAMS, age 24, of Epes, Alabama, born to Floydzell Graves and Ruthie Mae Williams Brown, was fatally injured in an automobile accident the early morning of June 22, 2013 on County Rd # 21 at Swilleys Bend in Gainesville, Alabama. Service of remembrance will be Saturday, June 29, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in Livingston Jr. High School's gymnasium with Rev. Glenn Harris delivering words of consolation. Avery is to lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time. Interment follows in Miller Hill Cemetery, Epes. After the committal service, the family will receive friends for repast at the Epes Community Center. A scheduled Wake is Friday evening (June 28th) from 5-7:00 p.m. in the Weatherly Chapel.

Those left to cherish precious memories of Avery and to celebrate his life are: a loving mother, Ruthie M. (Tony Pruitt) Williams Brown, Livingston, Ala., his father, Floydzell Graves, Boligee, Ala., siblings: Lars S., Cinquilla T. and Shakeria S. Williams, all of Livingston, Ala; Savanna M. Pratt, Kelvin and Alex Pratt, all of Montgomery, Ala., DeKendrick Lewis of Eutaw, Ala., and his best friend and special brother, Byron Hare (Virginia); his significant other, Katrina Lockett of Epes, Alabama; a great aunt, Maggie D. McCoy, Tuscaloosa, Ala., aunts and uncles- Rosie M. Nash (Lovell Hill), Ellis Williams, Jr., and Janie M. Williams, all of Tuscaloosa, Ala., Edna J. Williams, Mary B. Williams, Maggie D. and Mary L. Williams, all of Gainesville, Ala; Patrica (Terry) Reed, Lanet, Ala., Carrie Merrit and Williams (Molly) Graves, both of Boligee, Alabama; God Parents, Vickie Dent, Tuscaloosa, Ala., Gary and Glenda James of York, Ala. and Martha Hare, Panola, Alabama. Preceding him in death are: his grandparents- Ruthie L. Williams, Gainesville, Ala., Dennis Little, Epes, Ala., Floydzella Gravis of Boligee, Ala., and his nephew, "Peanut" of Livingston, Alabama. He is further survived by numerous other cousins and friends who will truly miss him and loved him dearly.
