He was the youngest of Everett Eugene and Lula Mae Lucy Woodham's thirteen children, born in Newton, on November 10, 1920 and died April 20, 2013 in St. Louis, at the age of 92.
He was a veteran of World War II and spent a lifetime military career, in the Army and the Airforce. He was a Baptist by faith.
His passion was the guitar. He treasured his wife, Rebecca, and his daughter, Aris. His life was remarkable in that it spanned the 20th century. He embraced all the change with "gusto". He was especially proud of having contributed to the defeat of fascism through his service in World War II. His family knows that he is now playing with the angels.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Lee Woodham, and his daughter, Aris Lee Woodham, both of St. Louis, and many nieces, nephews, and their descendents.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Everett Eugene and Lula Mae Lucy Woodham; and all of his siblings.
