Memorial Services for Charles Vining will be held Thursday at 11:30 am at Webb Chapel with Father Frank Cosgrove officiating.
Charles Vining, 55, of Meridian, died Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at Rush Hospital. He loved football and was a longtime fan of Alabama football. He also loved and cared for his 17 “critters”.
He is survived by his wife, Kim Vining; stepsons, Nicholas and Tyler Swanner; granddaughter, Arlin Swanner; his parents, Pete and Sarah Vining; siblings, Pete Vining, Jr., Gina Berdami, Tricia Hester, Jay Vining, Perryann Vining, Sissy Collier, Lisa Wilson, and Lance Vining; and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Clarke and Regina Thornton, and Charles and Jimmie Vining; aunt, Regina Thornton; and uncle, “Doc” Thornton.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the East Ms. Animal Rescue.
