Funeral services for Thelma Clydene Bolton will be held at 10 A.M. , on Friday, May 24, 2013 at Newton County Funeral Home North with Bro. Steve Robinson officiating. Burial will be in Newton County Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held from 6 P.M. - 8 P.M. at Newton County Funeral Home North on Thursday, May 23, 2013.

Thelma Clydene Bolton went to be with her Lord and Savior at her home on May 21, 2013. She was best known as "Miss Clydene" from many years of running a child care business from her home. In her later years, she was very active in the Hamasa Shrine with her loving husband. She was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son: Thomas Michael Bolton, and wife Susie of Newton ; one daughter: Sharon Bolton Blythe, and husband Jack of Collinsville; four grandsons: Thomas Clayton Bolton, Jeffery Michael Chaney, Anthony Dylan Bolton, and Andrew Chase Bolton; one granddaughter: Jamie Renee' Chaney; one step-granddaughter: Sandra Kay Blythe; two step great-grandchildren: Kaylei and Kelan Pearson; two brothers: Jimmy Cooksey, and wife Diane of Lake and Ottis Cooksey, and wife Linda of Lake; three sisters: Dot Bounds, and husband Frank of Georgia; Pam Collins, and husband Ray of Newton; and Gail Tarver of Flowood; a host of nieces and nephews
Sh e was preceded in death by her husband: Thomas Emmett Bolton; parents: Clyde and Dorothy Lee Cooksey ; two brothers: Red Cooksey and Billy Cooksey; three sisters: Doris Thompson, Grace "Cookie" Pearson, Daisy McDonald;
Pallbearers will be Grandson, Jeff Chaney; Nephew, Tony Collins; and family friends, Larry Chapman, Frank Chapman, Mike Steele, Chris Craven, John Blythe, and Odie Barrett.
