ETHEL L. McABOY, age 95, of Cuba, Alabama, born to the late Joe and Annie Moore Gibbs, passed August 17, 2014 in Meridian, Mississippi at Rush Foundation Hospital. Service of remembrance will be held Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. from Morning Star Baptist Church in the Morning Star Community of Cuba. Rev. Willie Wilson, pastor, will deliver the eulogy. Mrs. McAboy is to lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time. Interment follows in the Gibbs Family Cemetery, also Cuba. Visitation for family and friends is scheduled Friday evening (Aug. 22nd) from 3-6:00 p. m. in the Weatherly Chapel. The processional will leave the McAboy residence at 12:40 p.m. Saturday afternoon. After the committal service, repast is in the Fellowship Hall of the church.
