Henry Burton

Services for Mr. Henry V. Burton, Sr. will be 11:00 Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at Pine Grove Pentecostal Church. Rev. Kenneth Rockco and Rev. Mark Copeland will officiate with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at Milling Funeral Home of Sebastopol.

Mr. Burton, 59, passed away at his residence Sunday, April 28, 2013. He was a member of Pine Grove Pentecostal Church. He will be remembered as a loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather, son and brother and also as someone who had a passion for helping others. Until his sickness, Mr. Burton worked as a truck driver for La-Z-Boy. He was well known for his mischievous sense of humor, as well as his humbleness. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and enjoyed spending time riding his Harley Davidson. Mr. Burton served 6 years in the Army National Guard.

Survivors include: His wife of 38 years, Ms. Judy Burton

1 Son: Henry Burton, Jr. and wife Teri of Decatur

2 Daughters: Kayla Burton of Sebastopol & Victoria McFarland and husband Billy of Ridgeland

6 Grandchildren: Ciarra Burton, Gabriel McFarland, Alli Grace McFarland, Christopher Burton, Morgan Burton and MaKinley Burton.

Mother: Vinnie Mae Burton

2 Brothers: Dewayne Burton and wife Teresa of Decatur & Homer Burton and wife Nancy of Decatur

2 Sisters: Patricia Carter and Husband Freddie of Decatur & Clara Burton of Decatur

Mr. Burton is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers include: Steve Burton, Derek Burton, Brad Burton, Josh Burton, Justin Graves, and Billy McFarland.

Honorary Pallbearers will be the truck drivers of La-Z-Boy Transportation.
