IKE CAMPBELL, age 76, of Ann Arbor, Michigan, the fourth of eleven children born to the late Paul and Caroline Campbell, Sr, passed Tuesday, January 18, 2011, in Cuba, Alabama. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at 12:00 noon from Zion Hill Baptist Church, the Kinterbish Community of Cuba. Rev. Rodrick K. Green of New Hope Baptist Church of Ann Arbor will deliver the eulogy; Rev. Wayne Davis is church pastor. Interment follows in Cagus Cemetery, also Cuba. Family Hour will be at the church from 11:00 a.m. until funeral time; with a scheduled visitation on Tuesday evening at the Weatherly Chapel from 3-7:00 P.M. After the committal service, repast will follow in the Fellowship Hall of Zion Hill.

Those left to cherish precious memories are: his loving and devoted wife, Nina M. Campbell; three daughters, Danita C. McGill of Detroit, Mich., Yvette C. Thompson (Ronald) of Southfield, Mich., and Regina C. Gray of Ypsilanti, Michigan; two grandchildren, James I. McGill, III of Savannah, Georgia and Deja Gray, Ypsilanti, Mich; two brothers, James (Barbara) Campbell of Decatur, Ga., Paul Jr. (Deborah) Campbell of Ypsilanti and four sisters- Ruby Curry of Cuba, Alabama, Lillie Edwards of Oak Park, Michigan, Susie Young of Riverdale, Ga., Dorothy Johnson of Ypsilanti, Michigan; four sisters-in-law; Annie White, Oakland, Calif., Elizabeth (Bobby) Burgess of Memphis, Tn., Katie McCaskill of Jamaica, N. Y., and Yvonne Ray of Detroit, Michigan; one great aunt, Minnie Delaine of York, Alabama and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives, and special friends: Robert Widemon and James Patterson who will truly miss him.
