James Emmett Webber, 72 of Mobile, AL, died Sunday,May 12, 2013 at Providence Hospital in Mobile, AL.

Graveside services will be 3 P.M. , on Friday, May 17, 2013 at Hickory City Cemetery in , with Bro. Tim Adams and Bro. Brandon McGowin officiating. Burial will be in Hickory City Cemetery.

He worked at the power plant, a lifetime career, Alabama Power, Southern Company, and Southern Electric International. He worked in the Pacific realm, Turkey, Chili, Mexico, spanning a career over 40 years. He enjoyed fishing, especially deep sea fishing, and watching FOX news.

Survivors include his wife: Linda Walker Webber of Mobile, AL; five children: Lisa Gore and husband Bill, Fairhope, AL; Kristi Breitung and husband Max, Fairhope, AL; Renee Hoffer and husband Charlie, Chunky; Robert Wayne Roberts and wife Amber, Hickory; and Tammy White, Hickory; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one sister: Joan Cox and husband, Pete, Mobile, AL

He was preceded in death by his parents: Grady and Odelle McWilliams Webber of Mobile, AL; and parent in-laws: Dan Kelly and Maggie Johnson Walker of Hickory.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
