James O. “J.O.” Clark

Funeral services for James O. “J.O.” Clark, 87, of Jachin will be held Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at 1 P.M. from Christopher Chapel Church in Jachin with Rev. Sam Lowery, Rev. Jim Perry, and Rev. Jon McCluey officiating. Burial will follow in the Christopher Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 6 to 8 P.M. at Bumpers Funeral Home in Butler.

Mr. Clark passed away Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Willow Trace Nursing Center in Butler. He was self-employed in timber and cattle.

He was a U.S. Army Veteran.

Survivors include his wife Dardanelle L. Clark of Jachin; sons W.T. Clark (Donna) of Jachin; James L. Clark (Sarah) of Jachin; brothers Fred T. Clark of Gilbertown; Wyman Clark of Gilbertown; sisters Sara Carney of Gilbertown; Jewel Carney of Gilbertown; grandchildren Robbie C. McKenzie of Butler; Sarah C. McCluey of Jachin; Lindsey C. McDaniel of Jachin, and Ricky Mundy of Fairhope; 5 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Jimmy Allen, Jack Sikes, Charles James, Jon McCluey, Arthur Ward, Dr. Johnny Lanier, Ricky Mundy, and Matt McDaniel. Honorary pallbearers are Bill Allen, Gerald Gibson, Chris Gibson, Lyle Meador, and Alan Mason.
