Funeral services for Jimmie Booker, 79, of Needham will be held Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at 10 A.M. from the Needham Assembly of God with Rev. Donald Turner, Rev. Eric Wright, Rev. Lester Pope, and Rev. Jimmy Moore officiating. Burial to follow in the Brightwater Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 6 to 9 P.M. at Needham Assembly of God.

Mr. Booker passed away Saturday, August 3, 2013 at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was retired from Western Auto, Sears, and Delco Remy in Meridian, Mississippi.

Survivors include his wife Rebecca Booker of Butler; sons Mickey Booker (Laura) of Needham; Perry Booker (Rechell) of Butler; Roger Booker (Melita) of Livingston; sisters Patricia Hudson of Shreveport, LA; Mary Booker of Butler; Peggy Williams of Butler; grandchildren Andrea Sprinkle (Patrick); Summer Booker; Lee Booker; Autumn Booker; and John Patrick Booker; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his first wife Gladys King Booker; parents Oden and Jenny Booker; and infant brother and sister.

Pallbearers are Lee Booker, John Patrick Booker, Dillon Roberts, Tim Holifield, Jeremy Shoemaker, Gary Clark, Steve Harris, and Eric Wright.

Honorary pallbearers are the men of Branch Church of God and Needham Assembly of God, Tyler Williams, Dr. Timothy Ivey, Dr. John Clay, and Dr. Richmond Alexander.
