Mary Grace Comans Lyle went to her heavenly home on October 6, 2010. She was born July 20, 1926 in Neshoba County, Ms. Mary was a long time member of Rocky Hill Church of God where she dedicated her life to Christ at an early age. She played the piano, taught Sunday School and was involved in all areas of the church. She created ways to spread the gospel in her community, nation and abroad. She did mission work in Japan, and transferred to China in her 80’s to work with the Chinese. Many people requested her prayers because they knew she had a special relationship with her Lord and Savior. Her college professors wrote, “Her eyes are homes of silent prayers.” Mary was unique. There was only one “Sister Mary”. God surely has a special welcome for her. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Rocky Hill Church of God (10680 Rd 101 Union, Ms 39365) for missions. She was instrumental in starting a church in Japan during the early 60’s. She returned to teach and to continue to support this mission.
