Funeral services for Mr. Earl Mazingo, 92, of Toxey will be held Saturday, September 8, 2012, at 3 P.M. from the Chapel of Bumpers Funeral Home with Rev. Jon Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Marvin Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 until 3 prior to the service.
Mr. Mazingo passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at Rush Hospital in Meridian.
Survivors include wife Allie T. Mazingo of Toxey; daughter Shirley Anderson (Elmer) of Toxey; 5 Grandchildren: Alan Anderson, Greg Anderson, Rhonda Edens, Cindy Schroeder, Tonia Giles; 11 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren and 2 Step Great-Great Grandchildren; brother Willie J. Mazingo of Toxey; and sister Ella Mae Lovette of Toxey.
He was preceded in death by his parents Joe and Ella Mazingo; son Jesse Mazingo; daughter Marie Anderson Hearn; and brothers Grady, Milton, Carlton, Curtis, and Bobby Mazingo.
Pallbearers are Alan Anderson, Greg Anderson, Chad Doggett, Anthony Giles, Tyler Anderson, Auston James, and Andrew Schroeder.
Honorary Pallbearers are Paul Tyson, Sammie Bonner, Jr., Danny R. Bonner, and Dandy Brown.
