Funeral services for Mr. Robert A. “Bob” Brunner, 81, of Butler will be held Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at 2:30 P.M. from the Chapel of Bumpers Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Boudreau officiating. Burial will follow in the Rest Haven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday from 6:30 to 8 P.M. at Bumpers Funeral Home in Butler.

Mr. Brunner passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian. He was a retired Machine Tender for Ft. James in Pennington and also retired from GOC in Butler.

Mr. Brunner proudly served his country as a Corporal in the United States Marines.

Survivors include his children Steven Robert Brunner of Kelso, MO; Daniel Robert Brunner & Wife Ramona of Gilbertown, Alabama; Randall Robert Brunner of Jackson, Alabama; Jane Marie Andrews & Husband Harold of Butler, Alabama; 7 grandchildren Deena Myers, Ben Rutherford, Joseph Brunner, Leslie Brunner, Corey Brunner, Alisa Andrews, Katie Brunner; 8 Great Grandchildren; and 3 siblings Marie Brunner Liebmann, Blossom Bierke, and Ronald Brunner.

He was preceded in death by his parents John Brunner and Emma Vandervest Brunner; Step mother Julia Brunner; wife Verona L. Brunner; grandson Jonathan Daniel Brunner; and 3 siblings.
