Funeral services for Mr. Billy Buckley, age 74, of Butler will be held on Sunday, February 13, 2011 at 3 P.M. from the Chapel of Bumpers Funeral Home with Bro. Tate Windham and Bro. Kelly Etheridge officiating. Burial will follow in the Butler City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 until 3 prior to the service.
Mr. Buckley passed away on Friday, February 11, 2011 at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian. He was an automobile salesman for Windham Motor Company in Demopolis. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and National Guard.
Mr. Buckley is survived by his wife Ouida Moore Buckley of Butler; son Billy Buckley and friend Sara of Tuscaloosa; daughters Traci DeLoach and husband Mike of Half Acre; Deitsi Lewis and husband James and Gallion; Heidi Nettles and husband Ed of Demopolis; grandchildren Jackie Lewis; Will Lewis; Buckley Nettles; Mae Harmon Nettles; Sally Nettles.
Pallbearers: Mark Ezell, Gail Rolison, C.L. Rolison, Richard Turner, Buster Kelley, and Al Windham. Honorary Pallbearers: Bobby Bruister, Kelly Etheridge, Larry Reynolds, Billy Davis, Patrick Lindsey, Chip Moore, David Moore, Billy Moore, Highway 10 Coffee Bunch, and the Men’s Golf Association.
In Lieu of Flowers donations may be made to the First Baptist Church or the C.C.C Men’s Golf Association.
Bumpers Funeral Home of Butler will be in charge of arrangements.
