Services for Mr. Robert Stribling will be held 3 pm, Sunday, October 24, 2010 at First Presbyterian Church of Union with Rev. Chris Shelton officiating. Burial will be in the Union City Cemetery with Milling Funeral Home of Union in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Stribling, 86, of Union, died Thursday, October 21, 2010 at Hospice In His Hands of Carthage.
Mr. Stribling was a member of First Presbyterian Church where he served as a deacon. He was a third generation owner and publisher of the Union Appeal. He also served a four year term as alderman. Mr. Stribling was a member of the American Legion. He served his country as a World War II Veteran. USS UVALDE. He was a member of Woodman of the World.
